UQ Ultimate Lovers Frisbee

Yeap Frisbee it is! Oddly enough it can be so much fun… Yesterday was the finals of the UQ Ultimate League and we were in it! *I would count my lucky stars* The opposition was really.. really.. really… strong.. so they won.. but it was still fun! I’m kinda happy with 2nd though.. lol who cares as long as we have fun!

There was free beer too, but the beer was erm… hmmm…. Oh and at one point I thought I would faint cause of the lack of air *Nah! just kidding! my heart was just beating really fast cause the opposition runs real fast… ish ish… either that or I run real slow… :(*

When we *me & housemates* play we don’t remember anything else except “Frisbee! Frisbee! Frisbee!” or rather “Ultimate! Ultimate! Ultimate!”. Which makes sense cause why would anyone want to think about stress when they’re having fun eh?

Oh oh.. all the Malaysian in the league *5 total* were all in the Finals.. interesting eh.. LOL

Anyway can’t wait for next year’s Wednesdays.. Hyuk hyuk hyuk…

time to study.. 😦

It’s been awhile

Wow! looks like it’s been awhile since I last blogged. I have no idea what has happened from the last time I blogged so I’ll just start talking gibberish… nyahahha

Hmmm.. come to think of it, I don’t really have that much stuff to talk about. Oo Ooo…

I’ve booked my air tickets for the holidays, all I need now is to find money to pay for em.. lol some planning huh? Oh and I baked a bunch of muffins 2 days back.. not bad but the apple taste of the muffin wasn’t around to whet my taste buds.. 😦

What should I bake next? I can only bake muffins since that’s the only mould I have.. lol oh or cupcakes.. hehehe

Oh yeah finals is really near and I’m too lazy to study… *Oddly enough I might just begin reading after I finish this entry* Hmmm.. maybe I lost my mood to blog anymore… sigh…

Oh yeah yesterday I was at the market and we finally tried the food at the market. We tried the Hungarian Lepeny, it’s spinach, cheese, mushrooms and bacon placed in dough and then heated up like a quesadilla, not bad… There’s a choice of spinach and cheese and an additional $1 for either mushrooms or bacon… we took the whole works!

The other one was the Kurtos Kalacs, also hungarian, it’s like a roll except there’s a hole in the middle. The outside is either coated with mixed nuts or cinnamon sugar.. I took the mixed nuts one… Not bad either… wanted to try the french crepe but.. we were really late yesterday so they were sold out already… Bummer!

Oh well better start getting ready for lunch.. cheerios peeps! probably will be back here in November.. hehehe

Spring is here

But it feels like Summer already… Feels like Malaysia except the Sun is more scorching! Since Spring is here, the mid semester break is also here.. or rather it is ending.. 😦 and I didn’t get to go anywhere cause I fell sick, then another housemate fell sick.. so at home we shall stay… but it ain’t that bad.. at least we get to relax.. travelling can actually be highly stressful…

Since staying at home for too long for a self-confessed homebody like me, I decided to “drag” *maybe not drag.. cause she was pretty willing* another housemate out for a walk. Brought along the camera to take pictures of a particular tree… Here goes..
